“ Elena's would've gotten a higher rating years ago but it's not the same as it was. However, my go to here now is the Chicharrón de pollo because it never disappoints. Everything else is a hit or miss, but their chicharrón de pollo always slaps. The other thing that always go there for is their batidos (shakes) their passion fruit & mango shakes are top tier. I haven't sat in the restaurant in many years so can't say what the service is now. I only order to go. It's always clean. Next time I get the food I'll update with the pics. ”

“ I ordered takeout around lunchtime. The place was empty, but they had a lot of pick up orders. My food took a little while to be prepared, but the staff did inform me of the wait. I ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries. The fries were as crispy as I like. The sandwich was a little dry, but nothing that a little sauce couldn't fix. I would try this place again. ”

We are fortunate because we have been visiting this restaurant for many years so we are familiar with who to ask for in terms of wait staff. Eating in at Elena's is a basic experience. There is nothing spectacular in terms of decor. You are there to eat and that is it. BTW, Elena is a real person I believe she is the owner. ”
